Majestic511 has released a new mod for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Gwent Redux is a complete overhaul of the Witcher Card Game. This mod modifies original card values and effects to make Gwent more balanced, fun to play and lore friendly.

According to the modder, the main goal of the rework is to make decks more different from each other. Thus, the original cards have received some changes to bring each deck to a clearer style of gameplay.

The game now focuses on properly using cards to exploit your opponent's weaknesses. Also, expansion cards will help to define play styles and increase the possibilities of play.

Moreover, Gwent Redux adds new cards packed in thematic expansion sets to further improve and diversify the game. These cards can be acquired from merchants, innkeepers, random rewards, quests, etc.
